Let’s get to the root of the problem

If you’re working hard but nothing ever feels good enough, the goal posts keep changing, you’re overthinking whether you’re doing the right thing, or you’re caught in over-preparing and procrastinating cycles, I’ve got you.

You probably want to know why you feel anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed. Why emotions have become harder to manage. Why your mind is racing and you feel like you can’t keep up.

And you probably want to know what to do about it and how to cope.

You’re in the right place.

I’ve got you.

Getting to the root of the problem means you’ll understand the reasons behind your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, we’ll have a solid foundation to build from, and we can tailor your therapy to your specific needs and life.

Let’s work it out together.

“Understanding the why helped me get to how to change, I needed to know why.”

Hi, I’m Kirsty, and I provide online therapy for people who want to understand themselves more fully.

Whether you feel anxious, overwhelmed, stressed, or exhausted or your thoughts are racing or you’re stuck in worry loops, I’m here for you.

I work mostly with men and women who are 25-55 and are in demanding jobs or run their own business.

I can help you to:

  • Get to the root of your problems
  • Process an event that’s happened at work or at home
  • Stop people pleasing and set boundaries
  • Stop overthinking or worry spirals
  • Tackle perfectionism, critical thoughts, or imposter syndrome
  • Understand what self-care really is and how to implement it

“I have taken away real-life skills that have helped me not only perform better at work but have also improved many of my personal relationships immeasurably.”

It can be hard to juggle different commitments, to balance work and home life, to hold it all together, and do everything perfectly.

Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm can build as worried or critical thoughts race through our minds. It can be hard to switch off, or to concentrate, focus, or remember everything.

Perhaps you have physical symptoms such as feeling nauseous or a tight chest, or you’re having trouble getting up in the morning or falling asleep at night, a “tired but wired” sensation.

It’s not uncommon for behaviour to change too. You might be working longer hours, procrastinating, or avoiding certain tasks altogether. Maybe your alcohol intake has increased or you’re withdrawing from social situations.

You might have a sense that you know what you need to do but are having a hard time actually doing it, or you’re trying your best but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Therapy is a place for you to feel seen, heard, and understood whilst being guided by a professional. It won’t always be easy, but I’ll be by your side at every step and it’ll be worth it.

You’ll have time and space to get things off your chest, get the weight off your shoulders, and you can learn new coping strategies too.
